The first Zeppelin album cover to be created by Hipgnosis (a group of designers responsible for dozens of famous covers from the ’70s) depicts a group of naked children, playing in theGiant’s Causeway, a famous geological location in Northern Ireland.
The kids were actually just two brothers, later replicated in post-production, and the picture is meant to be a reference to Arthur C. Clarke’s novel “Childhood’s End”.
