The Beatles continue their celebrated archive series with Anthology 4, a collection spanning 1963 to 1969 and newly curated by Giles Martin. This edition features 13 previously unreleased demos alongside rare session material, plus the group’s final single ‘Now And Then’ from 2023. Also included are fresh mixes of the Anthology-associated singles ‘Free As A Bird’ and ‘Real Love’, reworked by original producer Jeff Lynne using de-mixed John Lennon vocals.
The double CD version presents 17 tracks previously unavailable on the format, while the triple LP edition offers 26 tracks new to vinyl. Liner notes are supplied by Kevin Howlett, with an introduction drawn from 1996 interviews with the band’s close friend and adviser Derek Taylor.
