'Lost In The Dream' is the third album by Philadelphia band The War on Drugs, but possibly the first where they became a bona fide rock 'n' roll band. This set up spent eight months recording between different studios that stretched from the mountains of North Carolina to the boroughs of New York City. Only then did Adam Granduciel - the self-professed gear head, perfectionist and leader add and subtract, invite guests and shuffle the pieces. Imagine an alternate world where Pink Floyd, Bryan Adams, Dire Straits, Chris Rea and Springsteen are all in the same band and make an album. Doesn't sound like it would work does it ?... but The War On Drugs have made that album and it works amazingly well. 'Lost In The Dream' is a big record. From start to finish it doesn't let up. It's pure magic and totally unique. Vinyl - Double vinyl version.
